Jayme Albin received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Health Psychology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University, her Masters in Development Psychology from Columbia University and her BBA in Banking and Finance, Cum Laude with High Honors from Hofstra University.
Jayme Albin, Ph.D. completed her psychology clinical training at the three major teaching hospitals in New York City: Columbia Presbyterian, Cornell Medical Center and Mt Sinai School of Medicine. Her extensive clinical and research training includes working at the child and adolescent Depression & Anxiety Clinic at Columbia, the Anxiety & Traumatic Stress Program at Cornell and at the Compulsive and Impulsive Disorder program at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Jayme Albin has authored and published two books: “The idiots guide to CBT (released summer /fall 2014) Penguin) and “The of fear of flying using biofeedback and virtual reality therapy” (Books & Articles).
Dr. Jayme Albin has also been interviewed on national television as an expert on anxiety, relationship and behavioral – health psychology ( Dr Oz Show, Montel Williams Show and Bill Cunningham Show ). Dr. Jayme is also a Consultant for advertisement and tv productions and has contributed to several articles published in both psychology peer reviewed journals and mainstream publications and on-line forums (Web, Organized Wisdom, Crains, Maxim, etc.).
In 2008, as an expert psychologist in CBT, Dr. Jayme Albin started an online forum and newsletter, Ask the Cognitive Behavior Therapist, offering insight and psychotherapy tips to readers. Within a year her audience surpassed 3,000 readers. In 2009, Dr. Jayme Albin began www.SculptNYC.com , a multidisciplinary firm that focuses on body image, weight management and nutrition.
